▽Development Story
As a beauty expert/writer for 10 years, I've encountered countless cosmetic products. I have many favorite skincare items! However, raising two children while working is quite challenging, and I've noticed an increasing demand for "easy-to-use" products. When I spoke to busy career women, fellow mothers, and men, I heard many similar voices saying, "I want something easy to use!" and "But I also want something that offers anti-aging care!" After much thought, I decided to launch my own brand.
If I were to create cosmetics... I'd want them to be sustainable and organic! Among the many ingredients I love, I focused on Japanese herbs and considered an ingredient composition that could approach the skin from multiple angles. Also, inspired by the tofu I eat daily for beauty and health, I adopted "okara" as a sustainable material. Okara, a byproduct of tofu, is said to be a problem in the industry due to the cost of disposal. However, okara is packed with ingredients beneficial for the skin. That's why I approached Iyama Tofu Shop in Kyoto, whose passion for tofu making and challenging spirit captivated me, and asked for their cooperation.
After consulting various factories about whether it was possible to extract components from the okara I brought, I was able to meet a reliable company, and successfully created an extract from okara using a unique method! With their technology, we were able to apply for registration as a world-first ingredient. When I tried the extract on my skin, I felt my skin texture become refined, my skin tightened, and my pores became less noticeable!
With the power of okara pomace extract, Japanese herbs, and Japanese White Pine oil, we completed an all-in-one product that is fresh and comfortable with just one application, leaving your skin smooth with continued use.
