Why an organic all-in-one milky lotion? Are you using "absolutely unacceptable skincare"? [TOFUlly JOURNAL Vol.1]
Hello! I'm Rie, the representative of TSUKUYOMI.
Finally! We are starting a journal for our organic all-in-one milky lotion, "TOFUlly," which launched on April 22nd.
This [TOFUlly JOURNAL] will be updated once a week! We'll share details about what makes "TOFUlly" special, news about "okara" (soy pulp) and "tofu" (soybeans) — key ingredients in "TOFUlly" — and information on beauty and health.
In [TOFUlly JOURNAL Vol.1], I'd like to explain why I, a beauty expert, decided to develop an organic all-in-one milky lotion. Please read to the end.
■Who is Rie Tsugita, the beauty expert and developer of TOFUlly?
Since some of you may be new to me through this journal, let me first introduce myself, Rie Tsugita, the developer of the organic all-in-one milky lotion "TOFUlly."

【Name】Rie Tsugita
【Title】Beauty Expert/Writer, CEO of TSUKUYOMI Co., Ltd.
【Experience】
After graduating from university, I worked in sales for one of the top four cosmetic manufacturers in Japan. With marriage and childbirth in mind, I transitioned to a freelance beauty expert/writer. I have extensive experience writing articles on skincare, makeup, beauty, and health for publications such as Biteki.com, VoCE Web, DRESS, and by.S.
I have been writing for Cosme Kitchen Journal, a select shop for natural organic cosmetics, since its inception. I've also written taglines and promotional materials for natural organic cosmetics, and as a beauty expert, I've appeared in media and at events.
【Private Life】
I live with my husband, who has been my friend since fourth grade, and our two mischievous sons.
【Skin Type】
I originally suffered from atopic dermatitis, with blood seeping into my socks every day when I was little. While my face wasn't severely affected, my elbows and the backs of my knees were often weepy, and I frequently wore bandages.
After overcoming atopic dermatitis and developing sensitive skin, I suffered from acne for many years. I tried various skincare products and methods, and seeing the improvement in my skin, mothers struggling with their children's skin problems would ask me, "How did you fix it?" The joy of helping them with skincare methods became the foundation of my career as a beauty expert.
Currently, I've reduced my writing volume and, as the representative of TSUKUYOMI Co., Ltd., I'm engaged in planning and selling "TOFUlly," consulting on cosmetic and health food product planning, and event production.
I enjoy my work while balancing it with time for family and friends!
■Why all-in-one? Escaping "absolutely forbidden" skincare!

My daily life is quite hectic. While things have calmed down considerably now that my eldest son is six and my second son is four, ever since they were born, I really haven't had time for myself.
After bathing with them, I would first dry their bodies and hair, then quickly get them dressed and dry their hair... During that time, I would just apply an introductory oil to my own skin.
Just as I suffered from atopic dermatitis, my children also have sensitive skin. Their hydration took precedence over mine! Before I knew it, my skin was becoming dry, and signs of aging were starting to show.
"Oh... I'm a beauty expert, but I'm not taking proper care of myself!"
"I want to look good, but I can't do any skincare!"
When I shared these self-loathing thoughts with my friends, everyone sympathized! Not just mothers, but working women and housewives alike are busy with their own lifestyles. But they don't want to give up on being beautiful!!!

Many people fall into the trap of the "just toner" approach. It's not that they intend to finish with just toner, but rather that they intend to apply more later but often don't.
Finishing your skincare with just toner is absolutely forbidden! Most toners are primarily designed to provide temporary hydration while "preparing the path for subsequent skincare items."
For moisturizing power and maintaining hydration, milky lotions, creams, or oils are necessary! However, for our busy lives, multi-step skincare is a burden...
Also, touching your skin too much often leads to problems. To reduce skin friction and burden, using an all-in-one product is one solution.
With these thoughts in mind, I felt, "I want a reliable all-in-one that's OK after washing my face!" and "Many people might be happy if I create one," which led me to start planning the "TOFUlly" product!
■Why theこだわり (commitment/focus) on organic cosmetics?
Amidst the abundance of all-in-one products and skincare on the market, I committed to organic when planning TOFUlly. The reason is that I myself have experienced the power of nature through organic cosmetics and plants.
When my atopic dermatitis was severe, I was still in elementary school, but I was engrossed in a children's book story called "Ichigo." The main character was a girl suffering from atopic dermatitis, and the story was about her family moving away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
I've largely forgotten the details of the story, but I clearly remember being influenced by the novel "Ichigo" and trying to apply mugwort, which grew near my house, to my skin. (It worked quite well!)

Also, my mother, while not entirely committed to an organic lifestyle, gave me opportunities to experience the power of nature by making loofah lotion for me and preparing herbal teas good for allergies.
Thus, I fully experienced the power of plants during my childhood. I believed that the power of plants was essential for skincare, and I became fascinated by organic plants, which are cultivated using stricter farming methods than other plants.
And while incorporating many natural organic skincare products, as a beauty expert, I also tried many non-natural and non-organic products.
After trying all sorts of skincare, I still wanted to create "organic" skincare if I were to make it myself. I also want to convey that "organic" does not mean "gentle" or "ineffective." With these thoughts, "TOFUlly" is committed to being organic.
However, the definition of "organic cosmetics" is actually ambiguous. I'd like to write about how "TOFUlly" interprets organic in a future JOURNAL entry.
TOFUlly JOURNAL Vol.1 described the background behind the development of the organic all-in-one milky lotion "TOFUlly."
